This model focuses on space beautifully. The roof structures of open and cut away revealing the insides of the building. While the materials are all the same, it is still easy to understand the differences in walls and forms and the spaces they create.This model uses some interesting materials. the trees appear to be a different type and color of wood from the rest of the model. The main structure looks like a brick pattern, but seems to be achieved through torn cardboard. The support beams and roof are another type of model wood and it all rests on a chipboard slope. The use of different materials truly enhances this model.This model has a large emphasis on the skin of the structure. The main building is hidden behind these swooping planes of material. The material is also well crafted and placed to enhance the beauty and purpose of the skin.This model is build beautifully into its terrain. The over head view gives a deeper look into the form and flow of the structure. The contour lines are also clearly visible around the main structure. The model almost slides down the terrain and becomes part of it as the roof rises and falls along side the landscape.
